Yes, you can:
a. First, get a real email. Do not support Yahoo or Google or one of those. Yes, Yahoo also seems to be a spam source as evidenced by posts like the one at 8:54am. I haven't blocked them yet but if they continue I'll have to. Unfortunately then I will no longer see your post.
b. Write to the domains, such as Google. The more they are flooded with mail the higher the chances. But don't hold your breath, they may not even care.
c. Filter out spam domains. Sure, after I blocked gmail and googlemail it catches some good guys whose posts I no longer see. Too bad, but I am not going to start some tedious whitelist method and most newsreaders can't do that anyhow. Everybody should be able to obtain usenet access via a more reputable domain. Old saying, you get the quality level you pay for and it ain't expensive.
