Sometimes the rationale is different. For example, a couple of times I
got estimates for tile jobs and almost froze when looking at those
five-digit numbers. Quick calcs in my head, turns out I couldn't
possibly make that much money per hour after taxes unless I was a lawyer
or dentist. Then did the tile jobs myself. Neighbors had tiels cracking
after pros installed them. We never did ...
Same here, I always do my own tile work. At the old place I probably
laid about 2000 sq-ft. I even tiled the walls and CEILING of the
boys' bathroom ;-)
