know much about the range of evidence that the AWGists use to support
their case. You don't seem to know anything about the ice core data,
perhaps because your hero - Richard Lindzen - doesn't take it all that

His interest is in the atmosphere, and the ice core data doesn't tell
you very much about that at all.

Scarcely. It keeps on happening, but anthropogenic global warming
throws in a persistent tendency for temperatures to rise. What the
Germans were pointing out was that the effect that they think they've
found would pretty much compensate for anthropogenic global warming
over the next few years, when in times past the same effect was good
for a couple of years of cooler weather.
