On a sunny day (Fri, 13 Jun 2008 09:37:32 -0700) it happened Joerg

Right now the situation is that most stores, at least here, are
notoriously out of boxes. So after my regular call around among the
stores netted a "Yes, we've got about 75 Insignia boxes" on day I did
what everybody else seems to do, a mad dash to the car and get there
right away. Arriving about half an hour later it seemed the stash had
already dwindled to about half. Whew. At least we got our boxes now. Got
to grab whatever is there, regardless of what reviews say. No analog
pass-thru but heck, got no choice, so it'll be the coax switch kludge :-(

Walmart would have had the box I wanted but too far away. The clerk said
something like: "Once a load arrives it's all gone within minutes". I
guess people start heading out there when they see a Walmart truck
exiting Missouri Flat.

So how is your reception now Joerg?
I am curious as to multi path problems.
Last night I was thinking more and more that 8VSB is what SECAM was in Europe,
a political decision to protect US industry...... from European made products....
(And perhaps both made in China he he :-) .
We have QAM 64 on DVB-T.
Nobody has multi path problems here its seems, not even me, and I tried
cross-country, where the analog signal was extremely noisy in the past,
yet I recorded Harry Potter no problem in digital...
