So, now invade Cuba? Just now Raul removed the caps on pay, and
allows cellphones?

Not my point. Myself, I'd allow tourism and trade with Cuba.

The problem is our head-in-the-sand leftist weenies and greenies who
won't let the U.S. drill in those same locations.

It's as if the head-in-the-sand leftist weenies and greenies want the
U.S. to fail :-(

Look at it this way: the leftist weenies and greenies are SAVING our
offshore oil for a rainy day 20 years or so from now, when gasoline is
$20/gallon and oil has dried up everywhere else.

Michael

Saving it for what?
Who is going to buy it for $20/gal?
BTW, if the Chinese pull it out first, how is that saving it?

If the Chinese had the technology to "pull out" all the offshore US
oil from Cuba, they could do it without leaving China. ;-)

Best regards,
Spehro Pefhany

I must be missing something here.
Splain Lucy.
