Re: Anybody wanna check my company's website?

I've just finished assembling the company website - I've already been paid
for it - for two days' work.

But, since I'd like to be thorough, I'd like to have it tested by a wide
variety of browsers, so as to not restrict our potential customer base.

This is not a solicitation for business - I doubt if anybody on these
NGs has a use for heavy manufacturing! :-)

Oh, I've crossposted this, but am sending followups to
sci.electronics.design, which is where I hang out the most. If you want
followups to go to your home group, you'll have to add it.

Oh, yeah - what website?????

Thanks,
Rich

Sorry, but this is a really poorly designed and ugly site.

You used frames. On every page I see a vertical scrollbar in the top
frame and on the index page I see a horizontal scrollbar in the bottom
frame regardless of resolution. Search engines hate frames.

The background image is much too dark, better yet, leave it out and give
it a nice, white, readable background.

QA is an unnecessary page, should be easily added to your Index page.

Equipment page is BORING. Add images of the referenced equipment.

The images in your gallery are huge. Make them thumbnails with the
ability to "click to enlarge".

But back to the beginning - I would either start over or refund their
payment. This needs alot of work.
