Yes thats true ! I had forgotten about those. They come with a new
plunger assy as well as a filter disk.

If you can get to that stuff, that is. For pre-historic vavles it would also be mail order and my wife won't wait that long. Plants would die, the missus would not be happy.

Sure, but they only have replacement kits for the new valves with eight screws on top, not the old four-screw types. It's like getting a spare part for a Studebaker.

Hint: If an inline valve of new type in a hard to access location goes kaputt buy a new valve of same type and swap the top assy. Saves a lot of work. Also reduces the likelihood of things going phssssss after turning the water back on.
