Who receive gravy train funding. Say what the UN/IPCC want to hear and you'll
get funded. Say otherwise and you may lose your job.

The conclusion is obvious.

What about those getting money from Exxon to have a say on the matter?

Meanwhile, I see plenty of politicians needing to say what people like
to hear in order to get elected. It is a lot easier to get votes by
saying that we do not have a problem that requires conservation,
regulation, or taxation. I see multibillions to be lost by the oil
industry if people decide that driving SUVs is an environmental problem,
reduce their gasoline consumption a lot, and decrease petroleum demand
enough to let petroleum prices fall.
