How about your grandkids? Or their kids?

I realize that you have a well-above-average income that no one should argue
isn't well-deserved, but sooner or later some relative of yours somewhere
probably will feel the pinch too.

For anyone who's physically and logistically able to, biking to work has many
benefits. I used to ride everyday when I worked in another part of the state
and work was only ~3.5 miles away -- I was in the best shape of my life and
didn't notice gasoline expenses at all, since the car was generally unused
Monday through Thursday.
