each resident. They spend about $8e9 per year. Lots of Germans, for
some reason; they seem to like the Wild West.


That number sounds high. This table shows about 1/6 of that for 2000,
and of course the numbers of overseas visitors to the US are WAY down
since 2000 what with fingerprinting and other hassles, despite the
bargain-basement USD and almost 30% growth in worldwide travel since
then.
