They are some VERY strange people about. Why are people like me and Joerg
being called 'deniers' a term more commonly associated with those who are
pro-Nazi and say the Holocaust didn't take place ? Why do they need to slur
us ?

Because you are ignoring the bulk of the available evidence?
Because it is an attittude shared by a number of anti-social right-

Think about it.

Just step back and view the language and open-ness (or otherwise) of certain
minds and you may draw some interesting conclusions.

We have.

Also 'consensus' is NOT science. Far from it. It has regularly been exactly
wrong.

Not that you could name a specific example. And in the vast majority
of cases it has been entirely right. We wouldn't have the advanced
industrial civilisation we have - with its built-in capacity to trash
the planet - if the scientific method didn't work pretty reliably.

Lastly, the 'green movement' actively wants to get us to be forced if
required to change our lifestyles. AGW is a perfect vehicle for them.

And they've got the sort of money and political influence required to
subvert climatology right around the world? Exxon-Mobil spent $16M on
covertly undermining the scientific case for anthropogenic global
warming and they've only managed to persuade a few gullible nitswits
like you who don't have clue about the science involved.

You do like your conspiracy theories to be thoroughly implausible.
