Does this argument make sense? (cause a friend of mine seems not to
think so)
The fact that kids who's parents that "live" on welfare also end up
"living" on welfare verses the kids who's parents do not live on
welfare prove that welfare does not work in getting people off
welfare.
It's not meant to get them off welfare, it gives them an alternative
to crime.
A fallacy.The housing projects are crime-ridden,drug havens.
Welfare only buys so much, and luxury items are not funded.
So,they turn to crime to supplement their income.
And worse, the residents have no stake in the housing, they trash the place.
you also get 3-4 generations living in one apartment, since the more
children they have, the more welfare they get.
So, you believe that extortion is to be rewarded?
Hence welfare does not work unless the goal is to keep them on
welfare. ?So in fact the best way to make people successful is not
to put them on welfare.
Succesful criminals maybe
Apparently so.
This argument seems perfectly logical... anyone think it's not?
Back up by logical proof and facts.
A logical soloution is not the answer to a non-logical problem.
Perhaps Darwin has the solution then.
