the guy who effectively took my place when I first left Studiomaster
(pro-sound company) and does the Anasoft simulation software.
Had so much to chat about, we're going to have to meet up several more
times just to cover the basics I think !
Anyway the venue closes late ( 2 pm ) and Kevin left about midnight.
So I went to my favourite place where you can see the band (good band
btw) quite well without being deafened plus it's handy for the bar and a
little while later, this cute blonde pushed in next to me to order a
drink.
Next thing I know, she made an offhand comment to me (girls do this -
it's their technique) and next thing we're chatting away nineteen to the
dozen.
Now, it was easy to tell she was quite young, but I wasn't expecting as
young as 23 ! (sort of been there before and really wasn't sure what to
do about nearly a decade ago). I don't think she was expecting me to be
54 either (she had me lined up as 40 something).
And the longer we were chatting, the more I realised she was absolutely
lovely ! Great looks, nice personality.
Mind you she was a bit ! drunk - but that's what let's your inhibitions
go.
Later she had to go for a wee and I suspect her friends picked her up
and got her home.
Now, she's told me where she works, and it's dead easy to go there.
She's a manager at a clothes shop that does both guys and gals clothing.
She called it the 'IKEA' of clothing and was wearing some herself and it
looked damn good to me.
Funny thing is..... I haven't been able to stop thinking of her since.
She has great taste in music and you know sometimes how you just 'click'
with someone. It can be almost instantaneous.
I have to say, it's raised my spirits a lot but what do you think of the
31 year age gap ?
this with a friend of mine and his much younger wife when we went to a
restaurant! Server asks "what would grandpa like to eat!" Terrible for
the server to assume this but it happened.
Owwww ! Fortunately I look younger than my actual years. No seriously visible
white hair yet and most of it's still there. I don't know if it was a joke or
not but guys behind the till have sometimes referred to me as 'young man' ! I
certainly don't mind.

In that case, just drive over to her work on your Moto-Guzzi and offer her a ride.
