In California, you can only get a speeding ticket if an officer can
positively identify the driver. I don't know of any automated speed
tickets being issued here. There are some red-light cameras, but the
drivers face must still be clearly identifiable. Otherwise, you can
say "somebody else was driving my car, and I can't exactly remember
who."


** Automated speed fines come with dates, times and locations attached. It
just ain't on to say you have no idea and no way to investigate who was
driving your car at a specific time.

In fact - it is a punishable offence to allow someone whom you do not know
(or are not a licensed driver ) to be in charge of your car.


The locals prefer to get their revenue from parking tickets, which hardly
anyone bothers to protest.

Parking is rarely ever a risk to human life like speeding and jumping red
lights *always* is - FUCKWIT.
