The real "wingnuts" are those posing as "engineers" and claiming we
can measure the "average temperature" of the earth to an accuracy of
"0.157°C", let alone find trends in such crap data.
What chutzpa!
Jim-out-of-touch-with-reality-Thompson reminds us of his special powers
once
again.
I DO have "special powers". Don't I keep you constantly annoyed, you
worthless POS and worse, _posing_ as a "scientist" ?:-)
Getting annoyed about having to put out the garbage is for children.
It is a necessary job, and someone has to do it.
What's the name of that diploma mill where you got your fake PhD ?:-)
The University of Melbourne. The thesis is in the university library.
http://cat.lib.unimelb.edu.au/search~S30?/aSloman/asloman/1%2C19%2C47%2CB/frameset&FF=asloman+a+w&2%2C%2C2/indexsort=-
Jim gives a proper engineers response, not a political-religious
response.
Slowman will never understand that. Slowman's behavior is actually
the epitome of political-religious extremism, insisting on everyone's
adherence or suffer the "punishment" ;-)
His view of the AGW "science" is grossly distorted by his overall
gloom and pessimism. He, like so many other leftists, *wants* the
world to go to hell in order to justify their grim outlook.
John enjoys his own comforting delusions.
The proper response to that sort of nonsense is to make things better
and to have fun doing it. Both actions outrage the pessimists.
Since I'm not actually a pessimist - I wouldn't still be applying for jobs
if I wasn't outrageously optimistic - I'm perfectly happy for John to do
what he can to make things better and have fun while he's doing it, up
to the point where his ignorant optimism leads him to post total
nonsense.
The "special powers" are hope and humor.
The "hope" is all too obvious. The humour is not subtle.
Neither the hope nor the humour are noticeably constrained by what's
actually going on in the real world.
Neither of these special powers equip Jim to assess the claim
that we can assess "average temperature" of the earth to an accuracy
of 0.157°C. The people who made the claim would have had to
publish a justification for chosing that particular number, and if Jim
wants to dispute it he needs to cite the original claim and identify
the arguments he feels to be unsustainable, with the kind of rational
argument that he must save for his paying customers, since he never
wastes any of it on us.
Jim and John have constructed this fantasy-land where they do know
what's going on, and regard people who try to bring them to their
senses as mean spoil-sports - which of course we are, like every
teacher who has ever had to restrain a spoiled child.
