Cut the entire painting out of the wall, perform the change to the
single or dual quad outlet, and then replace the mural where it was
before. Easy, greasy, Japanesey.

It stretches over the full room height and about 100ft long ... :-)

also used drywall is hard to re-hang, and it's impossible to get a
good finish without much paint and plaster,

get some really really long drill bits and come down from above.

(next you'll tell me above is the wrong end of a kliplock roof...)
