No need to complicate matters with a "european" and an "american" standard.
In this day and age, with everything bein so global and "one village"-like,
we should just settle on one system that satisfies all and avoid the
confusion.
OK, I vote that the European standard of drawing resistors as a rectangular
box should go away in favor of the U.S. "zig-zagged lines" drawing. :-)
I don't really care one way or the other about 4.7k or 4k7, although some
people around here are quite passionate about it.
