No, it's always been a bad thing. The statists are essentially
indistinguishable from each other, except that the People's socialists
want to take your money away and give it to the lazy, negligent, and
stupid poor people, while the National socialists want to take your money
away and give it to the lazy, negligent, and stupid rich people.

It is kind of a surprise that the current socialist is giving your money
to the rich, however.
