Maybe my wife and I will show up in your state some day after all. We
both always liked Arizona :-)

Although, my wife and I are looking more at Sedona...

Charlie? Looking to move to Sedona? Expensive. Neighboring old
mining towns, much cheaper, but close to the action.

Actually, we should get together with Jeorg and some others, and form
an engineers colony, as opposed to the artists colonies you always
hear about. We could share test equipment, facilities, expertise,
etc.

Charlie

You could move into my block. Intel engineer's house is for sale ;-)

...Jim Thompson

If you want to laugh at Massa2shits, AKA Taxachuttets, the house next
door to me is also for sale... No sales tax here, and only 10 miles
from the state (MA) line!

BUt if you work in Taxyourtwoshits, even for a day, they'll make you
file and pay the tax.

Never, ever, work in twoshits...

I doubt that I'll ever need that advice. ;-)

Beware. Californica is the same. Do a contract job in CA for hourly
fee... Phut! *KABLAM* Californicated :-(

...Jim Thompson

I do consulting work... I get calls from MA... I explain what I charge
for MA work... I don't get the job...

When I was contracting I had a guy call me from MIT Lincoln Labs. He
though $100K was a of of money, but was willing to go to $120K, for
contract work. No thanks. I was making twice that in Ohio. ;-)

(My hourly rate is double for MA, and as well, there is an up front
charge based on what the estimated annual MA income tax would have
been on other non-MA income... MA doesn't get it, that greed is
damaging!)

Is anyone still there? Why?
