Hi,Kids, waaaaant, want,want,want, waaaaant, want,want,want,
What is advantage of iPods over other MP3 players?
We donate gifts at Christmas. Every year we get requests for iPods and
never for any of the others. We can provide two or three kids with less
expensive players for the price of providing one iPod and are always
tempted to do so. ( I have an 8GB Sandisk Clip - $45 at Amazon - that
works just fine for me.) Would we be severely disappointing a kid with a
less expension player?
Thanks,
Gary

Having said that, I have a Philips mp3 player that I'm not happy with.
I listen to podcasts, if you push a wrong button, you cannot get back
to where you left off. You need to listen through the same 30 minutes
to get to that point.
Both of my kids have an Ipod nano, my daughters second one, the first
one fell in the toilet. Well, at least she was cleaning the bathroom!
I'll probably be the next to own one.
Mike
