I probably did something stupid this past weekend. I bought a small
old 5UP1 CRT thinking that it might be something that some of the
antique TV people might want. Only later did I realize that this was a
P1 tube, clearly an early oscilloscope tube. I realize now that it has
almost no value.
It came to me with a label stating that it was a brite tube, but all I
can do is test the filament. I only have $5 in it and have no desire
to make any money on it. If anyone out there wants it as a spare for
some old 'scope that they have, or are restoring, I'll be glad to send
it to you for $15.
