Advance SG70 in problems

Hi,
I recently switched on an old Advance SG70 LF generator and found that the
frequency wasn't stable. It shifts a lot up and down.
I do not have a user or service manual of this unit.
Maybe one of you can help or point me in a direction?
Any help appriciated.
