I think you set the printer to "listen always" and then hit a "print"
button on the 4194A and away it goes. The secret is setting the
printer to "listen always".

Forgot to mention. The above information is for HP printers with HPIB
interface. I think the 930C is a newer unit and doesn't have HPIB
(IEEE-488).
