HP used to build a pulse inverter that would take a pulse and flip it
to the opposite polarity. It looks to be a simple design, with just a

I'm thinking of adding a transformer to a circuit I am building to
include inversion. Has anyone used this pulse inverter, or anything
similar? Is it as easy as the circuit diagram makes it appear?
Finally, does anyone have any recommendations on who would carry these
types of transformers now?

Yes, it's as simple as the data *** says. It's nothing more than a simple 1:1
pulse transformer, and can be wired to invert or not.
The output pulse risetime is very dependent on the input pulse's risetime. Very
small pulse widths also.
