I'm using 2400mAH Vapextech NIMHs I bought on eBay for cheap and have
had great results. I have to charge them up before using them because
they can sit around for as much as 2 or 3 months between holidays.
I've also seen tourists in Hawaii using large shoulder carried battery
packs to run their cameras.
