What UPS makes such demands? They do request you not plug a
power strip surge protector into such outlets. But that is
something completely different, electrically, from a power
strip. Did you post what they wrong word for word and letter
for letter - or just wildly assume they were discussing
something completely differernt - a power strip.
A power strip or a single plug - both can cause and permit
too much power from a UPS - 1440 watts. Those posts about
drawing too much power completely ignored this wattage spec
number - are nothing more than wild speculation - are not
replies based on facts from the manufacturer.
