There are differences in the digital comb filtering, auto colour control,
and the video processing circuits. The FV also offers more inputs, and
options for video use than the FS. The power supply in the FV is also a bit
heavier in specs.

As for using the S-Video input on the FS, compared to the FV the visible
difference is not as apparent as using the NTSC video inputs.
