Determine if it is the back lamp or the display itself that is going to
black. This way you will know where to start looking. Check for any parts
that have become temperature sensitive, especially capacitors.

Hi all,
I have an ADI TFT monitor that once running for about twenty minutes
shuts down, that is the picture will gradually fade then go completely.
Switch off for a bit then back on and it will work again for a while
till it does it again. Seems like something overheating but what would I
know. Is this a common fault and is it easy to put right
pic of monitor can be seen on www.ebid.co.uk where it is at £25 last I
looked. search for faulty should come up at top
regards
