It very well could be an NEC TV. Have you tried checking Sams Photofacts
website? In the meantime replace all of the electrolytic caps in the
VOUT circuit & resolder the VOUT chip & all of the other ringed, cold &
suspect solder connections that you can see on all circuit boards
including the one on the neck of the CRT.
I wear cheap 'dollar store' 3X reading glasses to help spot the bad
connections & but the lighted magnifying rings also work great.
