Panasonic and Sony teles have seen quite a few problems in the degauss
control circuit inclusive of the thermistor and relay (control circuit).
First, have the set manually degaussed to see if the problem goes away. if
that works then wait a couple of days to see if the symptom returns, if it
does then you will probably need to have the set serviced.
BTW depending on the physical size of your speakers it may be necessary to
move them more than just a meter or so away for the set to totally eliminate
their magnetic effect. I have seen some of the older speakers cause
discolouration even when placed three meters away form some of the large
screen crt sets.
