mitsubishi vs4501-r tv power problems

I have a Mitsubishi vs4501-r I'm hoping someone might know the answer to my
problem:

pushing power on the TV or remote turns TV on for about 1-2 seconds then the
relay on the power supply clicks(k900 I believe) and the TV goes off. no
amount of wait changes this. I sent the power supply (935c27801) to PTS
electronics to be fixed, ic900 was burned out as well as r915(there may have
been more but they were obviously burned up). I've gotten the power supply
back from them but it is still doing the same. all components seem 2 be in
working order on the power supply so I can't complain to them. does anyone
else have a solution?

After owning a cheap RCA RPTV for 7 years with no problems and only having this hi-def Mitsu for only a couple of years and experiencing easily burned CRTs and now a power on issue I will never buy a Mitsubishi set ever again. ...
