Farberware FT0800 toaster oven shuts off

The above oven works well in the toast mode but when switched to the bake or
broil mode it shuts down before the timer runs out. It generally takes 3-5
minutes for it to lose power. The timer continues to run (I think it is
mechanical spring wound) but the power light goes out and the oven goes
cold. I believe there is a circuit board on the top of the toaster under a
vent. Can anyone help me figure this out? Thanks.
