And how many people do you suppose will actually do this? It's been that way
for years (decades?) over here, but I can't count the number of botched
"amateur electrician" jobs I've repaired, just about done rewiring all the
electrical fittings in the basement of my own house because the previous
owner wired it himself and did a horrid job. Sure you're supposed to get a
permit and have it done only by a licensed electrician, but that doesn't
stop people from doing it themselves.
