Hi, this is odd problem I have ever seen and this is first generation
on this chassis JVC put out this year. Convergence amp ICs and
convergence module is now together with the deflection board. The
power supply goes in between deflection board and the signal
processing boards.
Convergence is fairly ok except blue is slightly horizontally shifted
to right. Manual or automatic convergence will get it back to normal
and long as set is on, all is fine. Turn it off the convergence is
lost.
By the way, this projector is really scary to find that HV leads
aren't secured in those HV splitter module! Just the little barbs on
the metal end of those HD leads is what keeps them in and only HV seal
is the external rubber boots. A careless twist on that HV lead will
make that barbs come out of contact retainer. Shudders.
Will look really close at schematics but if it doesn't give any good
answers, we'll email JVC on this convergence issue. This is unusual
problem. This is SUPPOSED to be retained in the eeprom.
Cheers,
Wizard
