| Hi all,
|
| I'd be grateful for any advice you might be able to provide.
| My washer dryer has a wierd fault which has been present since i
| bought it 2 years ago (but i didn't realise it was a fault until my
| girlfriend told me so because I'd never had a washing machine before).
|
| - what happens is that on all the washing programmes apart from one,
| during the first minute whilst the machine is filling with water,
| water leaks from the front of the powder compartment, after a minute
| the leak stops and the machine performs normally throughout the rest
| of the comlete washing cycle with good clothes cleaning results.
IME all English washers are grotesquely complex, however I suspect that this
function is trying to load the soap into the machine with water and a seal
is damaged, or the outlet to the main washer body is blocked.
