well.
it's a "reference diodes" / "Zenerdiode"
6.2 volts. so in reality
there are 2 modes of operation in these types of
diodes.
impact ionization normally around 5.5 volts.
and the zener effects which take over above the
5.5 volt ranges.
the 2 modes have opposite effects in the
thermo properties.
since the bzv10 is a 6.2 v diode, it is falling
in the region where stable regulation is good
with thermo effects which makes it a very
stable Voltage Reference source.

should test it as a regular diode using your
multimeter.
