philips dvd962sa defect

Dear all,

I have got a somewhat strange problem with a philips dvd962sa dvd/sacd player. When I put in a disk it will read it for about 2 minutes and then give an error. After that it won't spin the disk up to the right speed and does not read the toc.

When I power it down and leave it alone it will read the first disk I put in, it seems to work again but after 2 minutes it gives the same error.

I thought it might be a power supply issue, but since I cannot find a servicemanual I don't really now where to start fixing. Anybody who could help me out on this?

Thanks in advance,

Martin Straver
