Are you sure about the brand/model number? Planar doesn't even
mention a model series starting with "LV" at www.planar.com, and
Googling "Planar LV85A" gets you nothing.

It's possible that it's actually made by somebody else. Look around
it for clues. Any FCC id number?

No FCC #, but I have a part number if that will help: P/N 997-2574-00.
It is definitely Planar as the name is all over it - but no FCC #. The
model number is also listed on the back as I described. Thanks !

a Planar LCD TV. And the product listing here

Planar doesn't seem to offer any Service Manuals for their LCD TVs, at
least not on their website.
