Hia Dani,
The STK's can cause the set to trip. Unplug the convergence coils one
at a time, and see if it comes on. These are easily identified as 3
small plugs going to each gun form the convergence board, and will be
somewhere near the STK IC's. I don't recall this set in detail, but I
have worked an a lot of Toshiba, Sony's etc. If you need any more
