Anyone know when it changed to eg

Anybody remember what it was before that "older" one, and when that one
was dropped?

Isaac

the earliest NS databook I have is 1976 and that has the double S/N squiggle

Back in the '60's, until (I don't remember), it was a pair of angular
block letter "N"s, one upright "N", the other on its side "S". sort of
like the wonderful "SUN" logo.
