Help w/Magnavox TV

We have an older Magnavox TV. My daughter touched a button on the
cable remote and now we have a "commercial" running constantly with
reasons why to buy this TV (suspect it's used in a showroom/store).
Can't get it to stop except to pull the plug. On/off button won't
work. The TV remote that came with the TV is long gone. Can't use
the TV. What is the code to get rid of this?? Thanks.
