Gigabyte is making a big deal about their motherboards having "all
solid capacitors".

Is this some new type of capacitor technology, or are they saying
that they don't use electrolytic (paper?) capacitors?

Could be tantalums (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tantalum).
