        Note that a switching locomotive ("the little engine that could") task
is to be tug.. big force in a small package, traveling short distances.
To prevent wheel slippage, it has to carry a lot of weighty ballast, so
why not inorganic batteries! The shoe fits, but it hardly fits the
template of the family sedan or junior's runabout.
