Yes Don, thats been your established opinion for quite some time now,
many of us are aware of it and some even agree, but it does no one any
service to answer such a reasonable question with sarcastic
condemnation. Its certainly more suitable to respond with 'X is more
efficient than Y, but I would like to point out that both are vastly
inferior to Z'
Imagining a world without methane, coal, or natural gas in
economically recoverable amounts, which isn't entirely unreasonable at
some point over the next couple of hundred years, and a demand for
hydrogen that is high enough, either by itself or for synthesizing
other hydrocarbons, such methods may certainly make sense. I know
you're a caustic one, but it doesn't hurt to get out of character once
in a while.
