Many in the scientific crowd believe that this technique is not viable,
simply because the intercepted energy would re-radiate as quickly as it
is collected.
Then too, if one could a fabricate a rectification device that could
efficient convert the light-frequncy waves to d.c. while operating at
high efficiency, the the concept might become viable.
Unfortunately, the challenge of creating such diodes exceeds the
challenge of producing an antenna that can intercept them.
Realize that there are not may applications for light-frequency r.f. on
its own!
