the fact that you're not even wrong aside, there were about 5 more objections which speak against hydrogen on the large scale.
The only transportation use I see for hydrogen is with blimps, and we'll all recall now how well that turned out.
On the plus side, they could achieve high altitude without wasting as much energy as jets do, and loft some rather heavy things up with them...
