What's with H2-PV?

When he began his crusade on sci.energy.hydrogen he seemed like a spoiled
and badly misinformed child, often using acusatory insults implying that
anyone using gasoline in their automobile is a baby killer. When challenged
to say what fuel he uses for transportation there is never a reply. That
confuses me because lying would be very easy for him (if he is without
honor.) Other hints indicate he may be in his late 40's, so he's not a liar
and not a child.
How is it that a person who will not tell an out-and-out lie can be married
to such a foolish idea as electrolytically produced hydrogen that he would
spend hours regurgitating the propaganda of the DOE to try and convince
somebody (ANYBODY) that such silliness makes sense? Hydrogen proponents
generally fit into one of two groups:
- Those who make a living perpetuating the lie that someday we'll all be
driving hydrogen-fuelled vehicles
- Those who are ignorant of the realities and believe the lies perpetuated
by the professional liars.
Maybe there is a third group of H2 religious zealots who have faith that the
realities of hydrogen will soon change?
