Ok second try, how about solid oxide fuel cell fueled by bio-oil?

Instead of using solid pellet fuel and a gassifier, how about bio-oil. It
us much more energy dense that cellulose pellet fuel. It is a liquid and
minimal energy is lost in conversion.
The disadvantages to bio-oil are,
it needs to be stabilized with methanol.
It would require stainless steel storage containers.
It has limited shelf life.
only about 55% heat value of diesel
However,
diesel also has limitted shelf life.
methanol can be produced from biomass.
bio-oil can be produced for less than a dollar per gallon.
Can be produced from ag waste, municipal solid waste, garbage, biomass crops
ect.
The vehical would also run on gasoline, ethanol, diesel, paint thinner, ect.
Solid oxide fuel cell development is proceeding nicely with small compact
cells entering the market over the next few years.
