If you burn it in an ICE, you get the efficiency of an ICE, a fuel cell
would be about 50-100% more efficient without the production of NOx. Also,
a fuel cell should be lighter. IMO it is only these benifits that
potentially make up for the other shortcomings.

the only energy advantage of hydrogen is that it can be burned in a fuel
cell without fuel modification. If you are going to burn something in
an
ICE, there are better fuels. Good luck getting a car with a fuel cell,
getting the hydrogen, cramming enough into the car to get anywhere and
not
having an accident and incinerating yourself.

PV-H2 should pop up anytime and provide a number of links about H2.
Then
try wikipedia and finally do a google search. There are hundreds of
articles with good and bad information. Try to figure out which is
which.


Why do you consider a fuel cell to be advantageous?
