Why fuel cell should be lighter? Are current versions lighter?
I looked on google, found this: http://lfee.mit.edu/public/LFEE_2003-001_RP.pdf
There (for non hybrid versions) weight of propulsion system was:
ICE: 392-264 kg
Fuel cells: 465- 479 kg
(Tables 8 - 9)
Of course these are randomly found numbers, But I don't know why ICE engines have to be heavier.
